These Terms and Conditions govern the use of member services provided by the Japan-Thailand Friendship Network (hereinafter referred to as "the Association").
In these Terms and Conditions, "Member" refers to a "Volunteer Member," "Individual Member," "Organizational Member," or "Supporting Member" who agrees with the objectives of our organization, acknowledges compliance with these Terms and Conditions and the separately stipulated "Code of Conduct, " and has joined through the procedures designated by our organization.
The term "member" as defined in these Terms and Conditions refers to a person who is eligible to receive the benefits and services provided by our organization, and is different from a "member (a member with voting rights at the general meeting of members) " as defined in the Act on General Incorporated Associations and General Incorporated Foundations (hereinafter referred to as the "General Corporations Act") .
Those who wish to become a legal "member" of this corporation must apply using the form prescribed by this corporation, in accordance with the provisions of the Articles of Incorporation, and obtain approval from the Board of Directors .

ボランティア会員、個人会員、及び団体会員の会員資格有効期間は、入会日（会費決済日）から起算して1年間（12ヶ月間）とします。
有効期間満了日の1か月前までに、第4条に定める退会手続き（自動更新の停止）が完了しない場合、会員資格は同一条件でさらに1年間自動的に更新されるものとし、以後も同様とします。
当法人の会計上の事業年度（毎年4月1日から翌年3月31日まで）と、会員資格の有効期間は連動しないものとします。
協賛会員は、当法人への純粋な財務的支援（スポンサー）を目的とした資格であり、1回限りの協賛費の納入をもって会員資格を取得します。協賛会員には自動更新および退会手続きはなく、次年度以降も支援を継続する場合は再度都度購入の手続きを行うものとします。

Members shall pay membership fees (annual fees or sponsorship fees) as separately determined by this organization.
Annual membership fees or sponsorship fees will be settled in a lump sum on the date of enrollment and renewal, and no refunds or reductions will be made on a pro-rata basis.
Membership fees will be settled using a payment system designated by our organization (Stripe, Inc., Stripe Japan Co., Ltd., or any other system implemented by our organization).

Members (excluding supporting members) can withdraw from this organization at any time .
We will consider a member's intention to withdraw (notice) to have been expressed at the time the automatic renewal cancellation procedure (subscription cancellation procedure) is completed on the member's My Page (purchase history & cancellation) of our organization.
Even if the cancellation procedure described in the preceding paragraph is completed, your membership will remain in effect until the already paid membership validity period (1 year) expires , and your membership will officially be terminated on the expiration date of that period.
Cancellation of automatic renewal must, in principle, be completed at least one month before the expiration date of your membership . Due to the specifications of the payment system, payment may be processed in the case of last-minute cancellations. In that case, your membership will be officially terminated upon the expiration of the period for which payment was deducted.
Membership fees and dues already paid will not be refunded for any reason whatsoever.

Individual and corporate members may be eligible for member-only pricing (discounts) and priority booking for events and seminars organized or associated with our organization.
The benefits described in the preceding paragraph are limited to the member themselves (or, in the case of a group member, the registered number of members) who holds a valid membership at the time of application. Even if automatic renewal is canceled pursuant to Article 4, the benefits can still be received until the validity period expires.
Volunteer members and supporting members are not eligible for the discounts and other service benefits set forth in the preceding paragraph.
Sponsoring members are only eligible to receive benefits as separately determined by our organization (such as the display of their logo or name on our website, etc., for those who wish to receive them).

Participation fees for events and seminars will be charged on a case-by-case basis, and members are required to abide by the "cancellation policy" for each event, which will be determined separately.
Notwithstanding the provisions of the preceding paragraph, due to the nature of the event and the need for prior preparation (food, seating, guest arrangements, etc.) , for certain events, cancellations and refunds after application completion (regardless of the number of days remaining until the event date) may not be accepted . In such cases, our organization will clearly indicate this on the application screen for each event.

If an event or paid service you have registered for is canceled due to circumstances beyond our control, such as a natural disaster, we will fully refund the event participation fee and other payments made on a case-by-case basis. However, this does not apply to annual membership fees or sponsorship fees .

This organization may amend these regulations, subject to a resolution of the Board of Directors , if it is in the best interest of the members or for reasonable grounds.
If we change the terms and conditions, we will notify you of the changes and the effective date in advance on our website or other means.

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with Japanese law.
In the event of any dispute arising in connection with these Terms of Service or the use of the Service, the district court or summary court having jurisdiction over the location of our company's principal office shall be the exclusive court of first instance .
